How do you break a tie in final standings?

Publish the order in advance and apply it automatically, stopping at the first step that separates the players. The order used here:

1. Matches played, higher first.
2. Head-to-head between the tied players.
3. Sets won minus sets lost.
4. Games won minus games lost.
5. Most recent played match, earlier first.

Walkovers received do not count toward step 1, because they are not played matches. Publishing this before the season is the single cheapest thing an organizer can do to avoid an argument in week twelve. The full order.
