Dubai tennis heat and scheduling
Dubai heat changes the practical question from "When are you free?" to "Can both of us play this court and format at that time?" Build the answer into the challenge. This guide is a scheduling protocol, not medical advice and not a directory of facilities.
Choose time, court, and format together
Start with the venue's current operating details. Do not assume an indoor court, shade, lights, or public booking exists without a current venue source. For outdoor play, consider a shorter format when the booked slot or conditions make a long match unrealistic. A full match that must stop halfway is less useful than a format both players can finish.
Put the plan in the invitation
State the court, date, start and expected end time, indoor or outdoor status if confirmed by the venue, scoring format, booking owner, cost split, balls, and a rescheduling threshold. A vague invitation leaves the hard work for later and increases the chance of a no-show.
Reschedule rather than force it

For a ladder, write the same principle into the rules. A player who gives timely notice because conditions or court access make a match unreasonable should have a clear rescheduling path. An unexplained absence is different from a mutually documented change.
Keep the standing fair
